The Island Country Club

The Island Country Club's Ladies' Golf Group consists of about 25-30 regular members. We welcome anyone to play along with us regardless if only for one day or for the entire season.

We meet on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 with a tee off at 9:00.  The games vary from week to week including formats of Scrambles, Your Own Ball, Step Aside, Alternate Shots, and Best 8 etc.  You may even be asked to wear a costume of sorts on a given week. On Thursdays some gather to play Putts with a tee off time of 9:00 as well. Another popular event is Moonlight Madness when we light up the course, use balls that light up and play under the full moon.

The Ladies have an Opening Luncheon, closing Luncheon and participate in an annual Tri-Club tournament between Deer Isle, Castine and Blue Hill.

We enjoy playing the course and coming back to the club house for lunch and conversation. We love meeting new players and showing them our beautiful course.
