The Island Country Club is nestled near the sea on Deer Isle, one of Maine’s most precious coastal islands. 

 

We offer an expanded 9-Hole golf course of approximately 2,400 yards (par 34) that will challenge the gifted player yet please the whole family. Tee times are set on a “first come first serve” basis. Rental clubs for adults & youth are available. We also have pull carts and a limited number of riding carts. Please call ahead to find out about league playing times and weekend tournaments or visit our golf section for more details.


Our 3 HarTru tennis courts are considered to be the best clay courts on the peninsula. You can call up to 24 hours in advance to reserve a court. For visitors, we have a special weekday afternoon rate (Mon - Fri 1pm -4pm) of only $5/person for 90 minutes of tennis. Visitors are also welcome to take part in Open Tennis, a friendly round-robin game of doubles where you will be paired up with other players, on Wednesday mornings and Sunday afternoons. The Fairway Café, located in our Club House, is open for lunch from 11am - 2pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Our varied menu with daily specials, includes the best broiled haddock sandwich on the island. Breakfast sandwiches will be available most mornings. There are also frequent evening events including bridge and special dinners. Wi-Fi is available throughout the Club House.


Directions: The Island Country Club is located on Sunset Road less than 3 miles on route 15A from the center of Deer Isle village. We are open 7 days a week from 8am - 7pm from May until mid-October. Please call ahead to check on league playing times, tournaments and other events.
